The ageing is evident on the nose. Butterscotch, citrus, baking spices, vanilla aplenty. To taste, more toffee, walnut and citrus build alongside the caramelised agave.
Select tequilas are aged in used Cabernet Franc wine barrels for around 14 months. It is then disgorged and placed into toasted American white oak previously used to age either Canadian or Tennessee rye whiskey for an 14 additional months.
