There's a tension between the earthy, roasted flavours of chicory and myrtle and the ethereal brightness of orange in this spirit. There's also a great structure too, with tannins from myrtle. It’s dry and bitter-sweet to finish.
Think of this as a “French Amaro” (like Picon), but made using more modern techniques like glass, vacuum distillation and infusions. A combination of these processes are used to layer the profile, before being filtered and sweetened.
Audemus was founded by Miko Abouaf in 2013, after several years working as a cognac distiller. For him, Audemus is the realisation of a lifelong love for creating spirits; and his passion is present in everything he produces.
