About this product

Ojo de Tigre Mezcal is made by harvesting Tobala and Espadin, cooking them in an underground pit oven. They are then fermented in wooden vats and twice distilled on copper stills.

Ojo de Tigre was established in 2018 and is owned by parent company Casa Lumbre (the makers of Ancho Reyes liqueur, Montelobos, Abasolo and Nixta). Pernod Ricard have also invested in the brand.

Only sustainable agave is used (Oaxacan Agave Espadín and Agave Tobalá from Puebla), with an authentic process true to the region's artisanal production laws.
