San Cosme is an un-aged mezcal made with 100% agave Espadin. It was originally exclusively produced for the German market, but proving so popular it can now be found throughout Europe.

It presents a complex palate with smokiness and caramel sweetness. One to serve on the rocks with slices of fresh orange or in a twist on the classic Negroni.
The piñas are baked in large rock ovens. Once cooked, piñas are mashed using traditional stone mill wheels. The mashed fibres are placed in large wooden vats to ferment for two days. It is distilled twice, always maintaining an abv of 40%.

Mezcal San Cosme is named after Saint Cosmas who, alongside his twin brother Damian, is worshiped by some as the Patron Saint of Doctors. Together, the brothers defied death on several occasions.
