When Campari unveiled its first foray into super premium gin with O’ndina in the summer of 2018, it was met with a greedy response as Gin fans clamoured to try this Italian Riviera inspired spirit.

This is a delectable savoury gin with waxy green herbs and a drying pepper pinch. Juniper makes itself well-known, but really this is a transportive wonder, transplanting you into the middle of summer. Try it with Med Tonic and a sprig of rosemary.

Key Flavours

"An Italian Gin (maybe - who knows where it's actually made), made by the Italian Aperitivo superstars Groupo Campari has Negroni written all over it. And boy does it deliver!"

About this product

There are 19 Italian botanicals distilled into O’ndina Gin, including basil, marjoram, lemons and orange. The gin is distilled using fresh Alpine water.

Ondina Gin is part of the Campari Group who know a thing or two about tasty Italian drinks! With vermouth, bitters and the Aperitivo so embedded in the company portfolio, making a gin to match was a natural move.

Kept quite under wraps the location or identity of the distillery seems to be akin to a national secret… Despite multiple and persistant requests for information we have not been told where it's made. Make of that what you will.

"Malty notes from the rye base are clear but it's worth noting that there's also 50% more juniper than in either of their other two gins, which comes in handy in cocktails like a Martinez or Negroni."
